This presentation discusses how industry is struggling to find skilled tradesmen and how they are turning to condition based maintenance technologies to backfill this skills gap by building safe, simple and cost-effective equipment condition data collection methods. These methods require minimum training and can be conducted by lower skill level workers thus freeing up the high skilled workforce resources to repair issues found from these inspections.
