VPT Series: Infrared Inspection Window
An evolutionary step in infrared (IR) windows, the VPT Series utilizes our exclusive Poly-View System™ technology to allow the use of any thermography camera to monitor energized electrical equipment. The world’s only clear polymer IR window optic enables visual inspections, traditional IR inspections utilizing cameras across the entire IR spectrum and allows for UV inspections to be performed with a corona camera. The VPT Series IR windows are industrial grade, with a patented reinforced grill that exceeds high voltage switchgear viewing pane standards.
Arc Safety Tested
Successfully tested to the IEC 62271-200 standard for arc containment on metal enclosed switchgear assemblies to help protect workers from injury/fatality.
Durable and Rugged
Polymer based IR windows are far more able to resist the mechanical stresses applied to IR window that are fitted to electrical distribution equipment.
UL Listed

Fast and Easy Installation
Following a few simple instructions, IRISS inspection windows can be quickly installed on switchgear and MCC panel covers, as well as transformers and other electrical equipment. Each window comes with an installation guide, as well as links to installation videos.
Environmentally Sealed Design
The VPT Series of products are constructed from switchgear grade Nylon plastic with an aluminum cover and stainless-steel mounting screws. Seamless custom gaskets ensure the NEMA 6 / IP67 ingress protection rating is maintained.
